Let me introduce myself. I'm Josh, the craftsman behind Burl & Griffin. My artistic journey is a blend of two worlds. Whether I’m crafting timber and epoxy tables, or unique wood pieces, my passion is driven by the desire to create incredible pieces that captivate.

I'm not just a craftsman; I'm a dad to two lively kiddos, a former 9-to-5 public servant turned firefighter, and someone passionate about supporting men's mental health for deeply personal reasons. When I was 19, I lost my dad to suicide. That loss fuelled my commitment to making a difference, not just in the firefighting realm but in the lives of men struggling with mental health.

For the past decade, I've worn the hat of a youth mentor, guiding young minds through the twists and turns of life. It's been a humbling and rewarding experience that has shaped my perspective.

Burl & Griffin isn’t just about creating stunning timber and epoxy tables, it's about infusing purpose into each piece, echoing the resilience of the human spirit.

Based in Canberra Australia, our bush capital, I have the incredible opportunity to channel the beauty of our landscape into every creation, each piece carrying a narrative waiting to unfold.
