MEET THE MAKER
Real timber, real purpose
I’m Josh, and Burl & Griffin is where I bring raw timber and real purpose together. When I'm not on shift as a firefighter, I'm in the workshop building furniture from live-edge slabs and hand-set brass details, where knots and natural defects become the focal point of every piece.
The heart of this workshop goes deeper than wood. When I was 19, my dad took his own life, and it's the reason supporting men's mental health sits at the core of everything I make here in Canberra.
